Watchers

1. What did you do in 2011 that you'd never done before?
Went to China
Admitted to someone what they did to me
A few other things too

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, & will you make more for next year?
I'm sort of against New Year's Resolutions. They're just setting you up to fail and make you feel horrible about yourself, while attempting to your best to either a) fit into social standards, or b) make yourself free from social standards, which is incredibly hard to accomplish

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Not that I'm aware of

4. Did anyone close to you die?
In 2011? No

5. What countries did you visit?
China

6. What would you like to have in 2012 that you lacked in 2011?
Peace. Happiness. Serenity. (And possibly someone who fully just loves me for me). Oh, and college

7. What date from 2011 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
June 10
December 22

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Swimming.
This may seem like a skin-deep accomplishment and like most anyone can do it, but I promise you, it's more than it seems.

9. What was your biggest failure?
Oh I have so many

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
In a way, I guess

11. What was the best thing you bought?
"Best"? It depends on what defines "best", honestly. "Most valuable"? "Most useful"? There are many different scenarios for any of these

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Mine, sort of. Some others which I'd prefer to remain nameless.

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
A few people. Basically one. But his was understandable, due to who he is and how closed his mind is.

14. Where did most of your money go?
China.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Eating. Sort of.

16. What song will always remind you of 2011?
It's hard to say. I never have just *one* song that determines a year. Skyscraper by Demi Lovato is one that sums up just a little of it

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
A. Happier?
Definitely

B. Thinner or fatter?
I'm not sure. Depends on your viewpoint, I guess, is how you can answer this question

C. Richer or poorer?
Like I remember.

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Worked towards happiness. Spoke my mind more often. But now I just have those as learning tools for the future. No use wasting time on what I wish I'd done, because there's no possible way to get those times back, but instead just use those times as lessons for when I'm faced with similar ones in the future.

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
I'm not sure, honestly.

20. How will you be spending Christmas?
I spent it with family.

21. Did you fall in love in 2011?
No. At least, not like I have in the past

22. What was your favorite TV program?
In 2011? I didn't really watch TV

23. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
I doubt it.

24. What was the best book you read?
In 2011? I didn't really read. Maybe the first book of FMA

25. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Musical? I honestly have no idea

26. What did you want and get?
The entire Land Before Time series (with the exception of the first sing-along video)

29. What did you want and not get?
Laptop, but that's okay.
Oh, and complete happiness. I was close, but let my past get the best of me.

30. What was your favorite film of this year?
There are have been a few. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows pt. 2 is definitely on there though.

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I don't wish to disclose my age, but I went to school for business days.

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Beating my disorders/thoughts

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2011?
You mean how I dressed? Casually. Comfy. Simply. More of sweats.

34. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
I don't try to "fancy" public figures/celebrities. If we're talking strictly attractive, there are so many it's ridiculous.

35. What political issue stirred you the most?
I don't really pay much attention to politics. However, I'm extremely disgusted with the government for how they handle plenty of situations.

36. Who did you miss?
Kristina. Rachel.

37. Who was/were the best new person(s) you met?
Mari kate. Alyssa.

38. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2011?
There is only so much you can control in life. If you try to control everything, you will become so focused on that, that you will lose sight of all the joy around you. So just let things fall as they may, because spontaneity can sometimes bring the greatest happiness.

Choice=Mental Health

You are your own master, and anyone trying to control/change you sees those faults in themselves, thinking that if they change others, they themselves will then change, too. (Holy shit I actually just made this up with thinking about things from last year)

39. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year.
No

40. What kept you sane?
Going back into Childhood
  • Mood: I Have To Pee
  • Watching: Criminal Minds

I am who I am, and it has taken every ounce of strength in me to realize that. I know I'm not perfect, but perfection is all subjective, and unique to each individual.

I am also an avid-Disney fanatic, and am extremely keen on the Classics. There are extremely few Disney Movies I dislike, and it is one of my life goals to watch every single Disney movie out there.

I struggle daily with obstacles in my life, and try my best to live life to the fullest.

I am a recovered cutter and pill-popper, along with a recovering anorexic.

I still deal with other issues in my life, such as depression, but any day that I can keep my head held high and my spirits up is a good day.

I try to make the most out of any situation, and try to figure out what lesson(s) I am supposed to learn from it.

I am not religious, but I do consider myself spiritual.

I try to be open about who I am, and what I've been through, because I've found that sometimes silence is the most deadly killer, and what you have to offer may be the life-altering moment in another's life.

I believe each person is special and everyone has something unique to offer to the world, and that no one should be frowned upon.

I know life can be hard, and sometimes seem to be unbearable, but I know that life *is* worth it, and that there is *always* some light at the end of the tunnel, even if it seems like the tunnel is endless and results in a dead-end.
"Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light" -Albus Dumbledore

I will always be here to talk to, and will try my best to help anyone as much as possible. All you have to do is message me, and I am also willing to give away an e-mail in certain situations. I'm also willing to share my story with whomever asks, and that can also include some of my current struggles, if you really truly want to know.
